International students – Required documentation for students from particularly disadvantaged countries

International students from particularly disadvantaged countries, as identified annually by the Ministry of University and Research (MUR), are required to submit an ISEEUP indicator at a recognised CAF within the specified deadlines.

The Ministry of University and Research (MUR) annually identifies particularly disadvantaged countries, and students from these nations must submit an ISEEUP indicator at a recognised CAF, adhering to the deadlines specified in the annual Right to Study call.

The updated list of these countries is available yearly in the call.

For these students, income requirements are assessed based on documentation issued by the Italian diplomatic representation in their country of origin, confirming that the student does not belong to a family with high income or social status. If the student is enrolled at a university in their home country that has a specific agreement with the Italian university of enrolment, this documentation may be provided by the foreign university.
