The Centro Antiviolenza Università degli Studi di Cassino e del Lazio Meridionale – Polo Folcara is dedicated to preventing and combating violence against women. The Center employs a multidisciplinary team of experienced professionals who ensure qualified and personalized support.

Services offered

• Receiving, listening to, and decoding the request for intervention: Telephone interviews to assess the request and conduct an initial risk assessment.
• Pathways out of violence: Support interviews and elaboration of the experience of violence, with the definition of a personalized path agreed upon with the woman.
• Risk assessment and ongoing monitoring: According to national guidance.
• Legal support interviews: In civil and criminal matters.
• Psychological support: Individual or in self-help groups.
• Parenting support and accompaniment to cases of witnessing violence.
• Support for orphans of feminicide and families of victims.
• Interviews with specialized team: For migrant women, asylum seekers and victims of trafficking.
• Job orientation: Individualized pathways for skills assessment, support in resume writing, and linkage with social services and employment centers to promote job inclusion and economic independence.
• Orientation to independent living: Through agreements and protocols with local governments and other agencies.
• Liaison with provincial and regional anti-violence network.

Gratuity, privacy and anonymity

The Center operates free of charge, guaranteeing anonymity and privacy. The staff is exclusively female, adequately trained on issues of violence against women, and works with a specific methodology and non-judgmental approach, in a protected and safe environment.
