Who we are

Goals of the Entity

The Entity for the Right to Study and Knowledge, DiSCo, was established by Regional Law No. 6 of July 27, 2018, with the aim of promoting integrated interventions for citizens who wish to invest in their higher education.

In addition to traditional right-to-study services, such as scholarships, canteens and university residences, DiSCo offers initiatives characterized by a high degree of innovation, aimed at improving the personal and intellectual development path of citizens.

The Institution is distinguished by the implementation of new forms of student welfare, which include income support measures, such as the Examination Text Purchase Grant and the Housing Grant.

DiSCo promotes study as a fundamental tool for personal and social development, and makes part of its services accessible to all citizens who wish to invest in their talents and expand their cultural knowledge.

Under the ESF + Operational Program 2021-2027, DiSCo manages as an implementing party and/or a beneficiary party some important strategic projects:

• Porta Futuro Lazio – Specialized guidance and employability services
• Officina Pasolini – Creative workshop and event hub
• Moby Dick – Library and cultural hub
• Study rooms – Spaces to socialize and study in a comfortable and stimulating environment
• Anti-violence centers – In support of female students and women victims of violence
