    “University”

    Universities and AFAM institutes with registered offices in the Lazio region.

    Student

    Those who enroll in one of the following types of courses, at one of the Universities and AFAM Institutes with legal headquarters in the Lazio region:
    ● degree;
    ● master’s degree;
    ● single-cycle master’s degree;
    ● PhD, excluding students who benefit from a scholarship, research grants or other contribution from the university or other institutions;
    ● graduate school, excluding courses belonging to the medical area for which students already benefit from a scholarship, training contract or other benefit and
    remuneration;
    ● inter-university courses, provided that students are enrolled at a university with its registered office in Lazio and have paid the regional fee for the right to study at
    Lazio Region.

    Winner

    Anyone who is awarded one or more of the benefits made available through the official notices published at www.laziodisco.it

    Suitable

    Those who, despite meeting the requirements of the notice, cannot be declared “assignee “Winner” of one or more competitive benefits due to lack of resources
    financial/availability of housing places.

    Serial number

    Those who enroll for the first time in a first year at a university as defined above. Also considered to be
    freshman students are those who have made a formal waiver of studies and who are
    re-enrolling for a first year in the 2024/2025 academic year;

    Serial number

    Those who enroll in one of the following types of courses, at one of the Universities and AFAM Institutes with legal headquarters in the Lazio region:

    Freshman students are also considered to be those who have made a formal study waiver and are re-enrolling in a first-year course

    Suitable

    Those who, despite meeting the requirements of the notice, cannot be declared “assignee “Winner” of one or more competitive benefits due to lack of resources
    financial resources or availability of housing places

    Renunciation of studies

    Renunciation of studies is a formal and irrevocable act by which the student decides to
    discontinue his or her college career.

    Attention

    For international students , career closure due to renunciation results in revocation of study permit (MIUR circular prot. 1872 dated 12/23/2009.

    Winner

    A student who receives one or more of the benefits under the current announcement for which he or she applied.

    Disabled

    Student with a disability recognized in Italy of not less than 66% or with recognition of handicap pursuant toArticle 3, paragraph 3, of Law No. 104 of February 5, 1992

    Location of studies

    The municipality where the course of study is based.

    In the case of courses held at more than one location, reference is made to the one where the prevailing number of in-person hours are held

    Headquarters

    The student residing in the municipality where the university course attended is located .

    Students enrolled at
    telematic universities
    are also considered to be in office.

    Commuter

    A student residing in a municipality that is less than 50
    kilometers from the seat of the
    university course attended

    Offsite

    A student who, living more than 50 kilometers from the course site, rents paid housing for a period of at least ten months, during the period from October 1 of the year of application to September 30 of the following year.

    International students with residence abroad whose family members, at least 50 percent of whom live in a country other than Italy.

    Calculated commuter

    A student who resides more than 50 km from the study site but does not sign a lease with the following characteristics:

    • Contract fee in the municipality where the university is located
    • Duration of at least 10 months in the period between October 1 of the year of application and September 30 of the following year

    It is also ex officio classified as a “Calculated Commuter” who, while having a lease of at least 10 months, receives financial contributions or subsidies from public or private entities to cover, even partially, rental expenses.

  • How to report change of residence?

    1. Open a ticket and select the category “Documentation”
    2. Specify the new address
    3. The office will make the change on the system
  • How to communicate the termination of the contract and, if necessary, communicate the details of the new

    2 Attach the following documentation

    • The registration with the Internal Revenue Service of the old contract,
    • The registration with the Internal Revenue Service of the termination of the old
    • registration with the Internal Revenue Service of the new contract

    The office will make the change on the system only upon transmission of all submitted documentation.

  • Reporting the waiver of benefits

    1. Open a ticket and select the category “Waiver of Benefits”
    2. Specify in the ticket all the information necessary to identify which benefit you are waiving (including the academic year to which the waiver refers and the benefit you intend to waive) or attach the Waiver of Benefits form
    3. The office will make the change on the system only upon submission of all required documentation
