Communication with the offices regarding your status in the competitive selection process must take place exclusively through the channels specified in the announcement: applications and the ticket system, both accessible from the Reserved Area.
These two tools serve different purposes and are not interchangeable.
Communications sent by means other than those listed below will not be considered for the purposes of this call for proposals. In particular, certified email (PEC) is not a valid method of communication, except in cases where it is objectively impossible to use the ticket system.
When to call the student support 06.49701
The student support provides only general information regarding the procedures outlined in the call for applications and the use of available services. It has no authority to evaluate application materials, nor can it provide guidance on the information to be included in the “Registration and Address” section of the application. For these matters, students are required to consult the guides and FAQs published on the page dedicated to the call for applications.
When to Use Instances
These forms must be used for all communications involving changes to the student’s application or administrative status.
By way of example, the following are the subject of the petition:
- personal information (tax ID number, residence, domicile, etc.);
- withdrawal from studies or expulsion from studies;
- change of major, change of program, and/or transfer to another campus, with or without recognition of exams or credits;
- a scholarship awarded by organizations other than DiSCo;
- grants or services provided by organizations other than DiSCo, with the exception of Erasmus grants and research assistantships (150 hours);
- any changes to the lease agreement.
If the request is denied, DiSCo will be unable to obtain or use the data and statements contained therein for the purpose of changing the student’s administrative status.
When to Open a Ticket
Through the ticket system, students can:
- request clarification;
- submit reports;
- submit communications that do not alter the application;
- submit requests for readmission, which will be considered only in cases where the Agency takes action on its own initiative.
Opening a ticket does not suspend or extend the deadlines set forth in the call for applications and does not constitute a valid basis for regularizing one’s administrative status.
Before opening a ticket, students are encouraged to consult the FAQs and guides posted on the page dedicated to the call for applications.
Proper Use of Communication Tools
Communications that must be submitted via a formal request will not be considered if sent through a support ticket. It is the student’s responsibility to use the correct tool based on the type of communication.
