We make the right to university study effective in Lazio by supporting students economically.

DiSCo supports economically in the path of study, up to the highest levels of education, those who enroll at a University or Institution of High Artistic, Choreographic and Musical Education (AFAM) with legal headquarters in Lazio.

Methods of access

Online Application

To whom it is addressed

Eligible for benefits are students enrolling in one of the following types of courses, at one of the universities with legal headquarters in Lazio:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Master’s degree.
  • Bachelor’s degree with single major;
  • Ph.D., excluding students receiving scholarship or other contribution from the university or other institutions;
  • graduate school, excluding courses belonging to the medical area for which students receive a scholarship, training contract or other benefit and remuneration;
  • inter-university courses provided that students are enrolled at a Lazio university and have paid the regional fee for the right to study to the Lazio region.

Merit

  • The number of credits required varies by course year and must be earned by August 10 of the year of application.

    For students with a recognized disability in Italy of 66 percent or more and single female students with offspring, more favorable merit requirements apply.

Income/assets

  • For Italian students, the financial requirement is calculated based on the specific ISEE for right-to-study benefits.

  • For international students, fulfillment of the economic requirement is assessed on the basis of documentation regarding income, assets and the composition of their household, according to the procedures described in the Notice and in compliance with the relevant regulations.

Compatibilità/incompatibilità

  • Scholarships provided by DiSCo are incompatible with any other direct benefit to support the Right to Study provided by other public and private entities/entities, including:

    • scholarships awarded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs;
    • merit scholarships provided by universities (e.g., Wanted the Best, Don’t Miss Your Chance, etc.);
    • scholarships provided by professional orders or funds (INPGI, Construction Fund, etc…).

    They are compatible with the DiSCo scholarship:

    • contributions made by universities or the EU to support international mobility;
    • the collaborative fellowships (150 hours);
    • Grants provided by other public or private entities to support expenses incurred for housing.

Access the service

The application is submitted exclusively through the online form on the terms and in the manner specified each year in the Notice for the Right to Study, indicatively from May until the third week of July.
