The project is part of student welfare policies aimed at reducing the cost of living, proposing a model of decentralized student housing that combines affordability, quality of life, and integration with the local community.
In addition to rent that is lower than the Roman market rate, students will have access to a variety of dedicated services:
- a local student card offering discounts at participating businesses and sports facilities.
- participation in urban gardens, which help both lower the cost of living and foster social interaction,
- study rooms,
- Fiber-optic coverage in the historic district.
Artena, with Europe’s largest pedestrian zone and a rich historical and cultural heritage, offers a peaceful, sustainable, and people-friendly environment that is ideal for studying and community life.
Please note that being assigned housing under the project in Artena does not qualify the student as “living away from home” for the purposes of applying to the DiSCo Right to Education Grant
